Our founder and MD, Alison Porter, started the business after being asked to investigate a ‘black hole’ in a high-profile divorce case, where a client wanted to know how much money her husband had spent on his extramarital activities. Alison’s analysis helped the client win a substantial financial settlement in the form of an ‘Add Back’.
Since then, we’ve specialised in creating and challenging detailed, accurate, evidence-based financial lifestyle analysis reports to support mediation and legal proceedings. Our service equips lawyers, professional advisers and private clients with the evidence they need to achieve the fairest outcomes. We help bring proceedings to a quicker conclusion, saving a fortune in legal fees.

Her charm and energy propelled Pennywise Consultants from an unknown business to the nationally recognised and respected firm it is today.

Suzanne joined Alison a few months after Pennywise’s conception. She trained in accountancy and is Pennywise’s technical guru. She oversees all our projects and is the main point of contact for all our project work. She is completely unflappable, sympathetic, positive and a mainstay in the office.
